What is your return policy?

Returns and cancellation can be accepted under the following circumstances. If a piece of artwork is requested to returned due to: a) Change of mind / cancellation if you have paid a deposit/full and decide you no longer want the piece. You must let us know within 48 hours of purchasing to receive a refund of your deposit or full payment.

​After this time period you risk losing your full deposit or part of your deposit to cover framing and delivery costs. If a customer has purchased artwork and for unforeseen circumstances does not wish to keep the art work, they must explain their reasons honestly.

It is at the management discretion to decide if the request of a return is approved. Return requests must be made within 4 weeks after receiving your piece.

​If the piece is approved for return for a change or mind or cancellation, then the customer will lose the deposit paid. Any other payments made after the deposit will be refunded. The artwork will be arranged for a return, once received, the artwork will be inspected to ensure the piece is returned as it was dispatched. If the art work is received and approved under the inspection, the refund will be arranged.

If the art work is received and not approved under the inspection, the refund will be disputed to that individual case.

b) Damages. If the piece of artwork is received with any damages, a photo and summary must be communicated via email from the customer. No returns can be made before communicating to customer services. All artwork is checked by before it is dispatched. However, if for any reason any damage is missed or caused in transit, the customer can be entitled to one of the following according to the individual case: The piece to be returned for a touch up, frame swap, an alternative piece of artwork as a replacement keeping the piece at a discount. Requests must be sent to the email with the order number as the subject all emails will be responded to within 48 hours

How long will it take to get my order?

International orders normally arrive within 2-4 weeks of shipping. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before it will be released for final delivery, which can occasionally cause additional delays.

Please note that shipping delays will occur if you provide an incorrect address at checkout.

If your package is returned to our facility due to a shipping error, we’ll reach out to you via the email address provided with your shipping information. If we don’t get a response within 5 business days, we hold the right to refund your order. This applies to all merchandise orders, including limited edition and pre-order sales.

Colour Disclaimer

Although we do our best to make sure that the colours displayed on our Website are accurate, the actual colours may vary. Differences in monitors and the device you use to view the website will result in subtle differences in colour and textures

What’s the difference between a commission, original and print?

All paintings are original pieces of art, handmade by zulekha lakeca

commissions are essentially requests, so all commissions are originals but not all originals are commissions

prints are reproductions of original artworks. to create a print, high resolution photographs are taken of the artwork and then printed out on a supersized printer


original art: within 4 weeks (unless specified otherwise)

you will receive a tracking number once your parcel is received by our courier so you will know when to expect your delivery, no waiting around by the letterbox!

What's is Klarna?

Klarna offers a pay-in-four payment plan, which lets shoppers split their purchase into four equal instalments to be paid every two weeks or monthly, with the first due at checkout. For example, if your purchase costs $200, you would pay $50 at checkout.  You don’t need to have finished all your instalments to receive your print, we will send it out as soon as your first payment has been made.
